REPORT: Hiring of 4 new researchers at the Faculty of Technology (FT)
 
As a part of WP3 – Reinforcement of the human resources - 4 new researchers started to work at FT in 3rd project month being employed until the end of the project, i.e. for 34 months. This activity is in accordance to the CEFSER contract – Annex I.
In this way the scientific group dedicated to the food and environmental safety gathered within the Laboratory for Chemical Contaminants in Food and the Environment (LabCHEMCONT), which has also worked as the CEFSER team, is enlarged giving the possibility to broaden the activities and cope with new research challanges.
Procedure for hiring has been conducted in close cooperation with permanent managment and administrative divisions of FT. The Dean of FT rendered a decision of opening of call for hiring of 4 researchers within the CEFSER project, naming the Commission responsible for this call: Prof. dr. Biljana Škrbić – the project coordinator, Dr. Jelena Cvejanov – the WP3 leader, and Jelena Kočoba, the representative of the Faculty legal department. The text of the call has been published in „Poslovi“, a newspaper specialized for job advertiseent.
After the call closing, the Commission classified the applications and ranked the candidates. Four best ranked candidates have been chosen to be employed at the LabCHEMCONT.
During their engagement by CEFSER, these young researchers will write reports on their activities within the lab and the project on six-month basis, to be presented and accepted by PC.
